Our story

Gnarly Tree Specialists was founded by Micah Dash and Melanie Jonassen.

Micah is a fully qualified arborist with over 10 years of hands-on experience. As an approved assessor, he also trains up-and-coming arborists. Before getting into arboriculture, he worked as an orchardist, so he knows his way around plant health, fruiting cycles, and what makes trees thrive.

Melanie handles the tech, admin, and ground support, keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
